The boys Moab trip

Here are a few pictures from the boys' Moab trip. It sounds like it rained (almost) nonstop! Ken took the jeep over. They got covered in mud on one of the bike rides. But Tyler said his favorite part was the BMX track.

My darling Cody

My little Cody is such a sweet heart! While Ken has been gone, he's let me sleep in everyday. He gets breakfast for

Alexa and Mason (cold or hot cereal). And on Sunday, he even made me pancakes! He is such a great kid and a good example his brothers and sister. I am so lucky to have him! Last week he was trying to get by me in the kitchen and I said to him, "What's the pass word?" he replied, "You're the best mom in the whole wide world?" ...And so smart too! LOL.

The adventures of Mojo and Alexa

Here are Alexa and Mojo. Alexa has made our poor little doggie into a princess. He sure is good to Alexa. On the way home from our last trip to Idaho, Alexa was holding Mojo in her carseat and she must have been too rough with him and he bit her on the nose. I told her she should not hold him again for a while. About 5 minutes later, he is sitting with her again. She tells me that she will be really careful. About one minute later, Mojo lets out the worst noise I've ever heard from him. I asked her what happened...she said (in her most sheepish voice), "I bit him." I asked her where. She answered, "on the tongue."

Wicked Dodgeball

Last night, me and the kids were playing dodge ball on the trampoline. I threw the ball and it accidentally hit Mason in the face. (He caught the ball so he wasn't out.) He fell down in his attempt to catch it and Cody and I realized at the same time that his front top baby tooth was laying on the trampoline next to him. Mason wasn't sure if he should cry or shout for joy. The ball had also made his other front top tooth loose and he was worried about losing it in the swimming pool on his field trip the next day so he had me pull it out. It was all very funny. What a memorable way to lose your teeth!

Jeep ride

Today we went for a ride in my

mom's jeep. Ken borrowed it to take to Moab. We had lots of fun catching lizards, visiting the L and seeing some beautiful scenery!

Monroe trip

Saturday we went to Monroe for a family baptism. The men played golf and the women and children went to the park and had a water balloon fight. The weather was beautiful and the scenery there is fantastic. Kirk and Julie's addition looks awesome and their kids are getting so big and cute. As we were driving home there was an incredible sunset. And the kids were asleep within 30 min of leaving! whoo hoo!

Not so good news

Tyler went four wheeler riding last weekend with some friends. I said to him before he left, "Do I need to give you the lecture on how many people I have picked up on the ambulance from four wheeler wrecks?" "No" they said. So I refrained from the usual speech. A couple hours later I get a phone call from Tyler saying that he and Preston had a head on collision and Tylers arm hurts. We had to take the truck to get the four wheeler since it was so hammered. Next day I took Tyler in for x-rays since his arm was still hurting. The Dr reported no broken bones, just a bad sprain. As for the four wheeler...probably a good $500 worth of damage. It could have been way worse. Glad everyone was ok!

Alexa socked Mason in the nose. Mason didn't want to take any chances apparently. He told me this was "just in case" it started bleeding. LOL
