Sand dunes

I've rekindled my love for riding the four wheeler. I've been up to the sand dunes 3 times this week. I love it there. It is so beautiful and peaceful. This is Irish and Lexa having a grand old time.

Pig chase

Today was the greased pig contest. The little kids caught bunnies and ducks. Alexa caught a bunny and received a dollar for her prize. Mason and Cody both split with another person and received $10 each. Me, Ken and Ty didn't do so well on our turns but it was sure fun!

Lake Powell

Our Lake Powell trip was super fun! We had great weather (mostly). We went wake boarding, tubing, swimming, cliff jumping, kayaking, exploring, boating, and even had drunken fist fighting neighbors! Sun burns? Yes. Sand in the food? Yes. Skinny dipping? YES!! LOL.

Lovelock

Cody had his allstar tournament in Lovelock, Nevada. We spent a week there. We had lots of fun. We went to Transformers (Hated IT!), went swimming, went fishing, went on a hike, played horseshoes, played at the park, ate out, ate in, watched tv, jumped on the beds at the motel...etc

Our first night, we stayed at a disgusting motel. The window covering in the bathroom was a towel, the carpet was stained and dirty, the mattress was dirty and gross, and to top it off, a bug crawled across me at 3 in the morning. I told Ken we were not spending another night there!

Cody did well at his tournament. He caught 3 important pop flies and got several base hits. He played left field, right field, center field and pitcher. Way to go Cody!

Over the hill

So Ken just had his 40th birthday. We decorated the house with black streamers and black balloons. He was a good sport. And just look at that cake! It looks like the sun with so many candles on it! Love you honey bunny!
